We funded yet another pediatric brain tumor research project. This time, we partnered with the Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation to pay for this grant!

The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research and Information, Inc has announced that it has partnered with the Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation to award a $65,000 pediatric brain tumor research grant to Dr. Mai Dang at CHOP Research Institute in Philadelphia.
Hewlett, NY, December 24, 2015 – The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc. (Musella Foundation), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of families dealing with brain cancer, announced that it has partnered with the Gray Matters Brain Cancer Foundation to jointly fund an exciting pediatric brain tumor research grant.
The title of the project is: "Cytokine, RNA, and proteonomic analyses of the immune response to a molecular targeted therapy for medulloblastoma". This project will look at the immune response to molecularly targeted therapy for medullobasomas to learn ways to manipulate the immune cells to that they may work synergistically with the existing treatments and prevent drug-resistant tumor growth.
Each organization contributed half of the cost of the $65,000 grant.
